These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the interactive learning game published by Certaze Technologies ("we", "us", "Certaze") and known as Certaze Play — referred to here as "the Game". By playing or otherwise using the Game, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Game.
Certaze Technologies is a registered business in Kerala, India (Udyam Registration No. UDYAM-KL-10-0095921).
The Game is a browser-based learning game inspired by behavioural-science ideas about habits, motivation, focus, and learning by design. A free core experience is available to everyone with no account and no sign-up. An optional paid "Pro" unlock may add further content and features.
The free core experience is open to general audiences. However, any purchase (such as a Pro unlock) must be made by a person who is 18 years or older, or by a parent or legal guardian on a minor’s behalf. By making a purchase, you confirm you meet this requirement.
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and play the Game for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, resell, redistribute, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from the Game or its content.
Any paid Pro unlock is a one-time digital purchase. The price shown at checkout is the final price payable. Purchases do not auto-renew and are not recurring. Where payments are enabled, they are processed by our payment processor (e.g. Razorpay); we do not store your card details.
If the Game is ever offered through an app store, that store’s billing and refund rules apply to those purchases.
You agree not to use the Game to break any law, infringe others’ rights, disrupt or attack the service, or attempt to access parts of the system you are not authorised to access.
All content, design, code, characters, artwork, and game mechanics are the property of Certaze Technologies or its licensors and are protected by law. Some artwork is created with the assistance of AI tools under appropriate commercial licences. Your licence to play does not transfer any ownership to you.
The Game is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant uninterrupted availability, or that the Game will achieve any particular learning, productivity, or wellbeing outcome.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Certaze Technologies shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Game. Where Pro was purchased, our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for it.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated version number and date on this page. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000, and — in respect of personal data — the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025. Our handling of personal data (which, for core play, is essentially none) is described in our Privacy Policy. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kerala, India. Before any dispute, please contact us at admin@certaze.in so we can try to resolve it.
In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the rules thereunder, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and Rules, 2025, the contact details of our Grievance Officer are published in our Privacy Policy.
